British "redcoats" may have been helped to victory in the Battle of Waterloo by the colour of their uniforms, new research suggests.
Men wearing red are seen as more aggressive, angry and dominant than those dressed in blue or grey, a study has shown.
So Napoleon's blue-clad troops would have been at a distinct psychological disadvantage when they confronted the Duke of Wellington's forces in 1815.
Red often signals aggression in animals, and appears to have a similar effect in humans, according to the researchers.
They believe the colour red could be having a major impact in business, social situations and on the sports field.

Indeed Korben and have been thinking about this.
When you look at the battle of Isandlwana, where it is known the Zulu's used a medicine made from a form of cannabis. This may have helped blocked out this natural sense of danger. It made them fearless to the bullets fired from the British rifles, in view they could not be harmed but they were very much afraid of the bayonets used by the British up close, which may have seemed bigger than they were because of the drugs, even though they were naturally big anyway.

Studies have shown the same thing with sports teams in the U.S. that wear mostly black uniforms.

Interesting Ben, look at the "All blacks" with Rugby and the Maori tradition within this.
Look at English football where until recently it has been Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United that have dominated, all with home kits in Red tops. Now we have the blue of Chelsea and Manchester City. So what is making blue dominate, where red once did?
