Your all time destination...

Post by Guest on Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:00 am

I'm not quite sure where I would very best like to go , probably California or Papua New Guinea, I'd rather come back alive of course!, steeped in local tribal fighting and cannabalism ,I would never enter those jungles without a good few armed guards...

The city of Port Moresby is violent , but at least I may not get eaten there!

California though, that would be awesome!

What's your most wanted best liked destination?

I'd actually like to eventually set foot on the other six continents, but I'd settle now for heading to S. America for the World Cup next year! Travel's so damn expensive, though.

Well I've already done two (cruising the Nile in Egypt and walking on the Great Wall of China) which I always wanted to do as a kid- next up I want to go to Cuba, and tour the whole island- which will hopefully happen sometime in next few years Smile

Papua New Guinea- of all places, how come JD? Smile

...in comparison to other countries Eilzel...it's so unexplored, but that landscape itself probably contributes to that!

Exactly JD. And Nova Scotia has strong links to Scotland. Friends of mine went there and said it was a fantastic place where they said the welcome they got everywhere they went was brilliant.

Angkor Wat is stunning veya, I visited last year (though only spent a day site seeing the Angkor complex which isn't nearly long enough) apparently the biggest temple of any kind on Earth Smile

That picture though is from Angkor Thom I think, where they filmed Tomb Raider, it is very unique and a proper 'lost city' look to it- you just have to tolerate the hundreds of people wanting pose like Lara Croft haha

The city of Siem Reap (which by UK standards is really more the size of medium sized town) is also nice, and cheap Smile
