She should be locked up. I understand the desperation of parents whose children are or have become disabled. You would give anything, including your life, to make them better. But crap like this is unforgivable.

Exactly! It’s like cults or religion or financial scams. Find a person’s weakness and then prey on them. It’s revolting. But sadly I think it will continue, even with so many warnings and good, proven information out there. With the rise of fake news and quite frankly, some people’s laziness in verifying sources, it gets harder each day to combat it. But Life is hard slog. People get worn out physically and emotionally and want the easy solution which doesn’t exist.

I think social media companies need to start taking some responsibility over this when it comes to health. Where people pedal falsehoods and lies. A disclosure should be placed on these pages with a warning.

I think people have become even more gullible and like you say ultra lazy when it comes to researching properly. In some cases its like a religious movement. Where people take it as if its like faith.

It’s a game of Chinese Whispers gone nuclear. I think it’s even too late if social media platforms got even more hardline. The only way to stop it would be to completely shut the damn thing down, but that’s never going to happen.

Yes I saw that. My dad has polio as a 4 year old in the 50s and it makes my blood boil. We have had cases of measles and mumps in my state very recently. Yippee for bringing back diseases that we were almost eradicated.

I know and i dispair at the anti-vaxxers, who in my mind, are utterly irresponsible and clueless on science.

The problem is, they never saw, people like your father contracted Polio. We have a new generations who have neever seen when it was a problem. I think there needs to be educational films for parents to show how bad these diseases are.
