Tony is trying to Steal Aboriginal land.... Again

Post by veya_victaous on Wed Feb 19, 2014 1:16 am

On 3 February 2014 Commonwealth Environment Minister, Greg Hunt, proposed a Direct Action plan ‘in which Indigenous people would be given work planting trees and scrub and restoring degraded government-owned land in rural areas.

Queensland, NSW and Western Australia is where the plan would take place.

This might seem a worthy project to some but the plan was cunningly hatched by the Government.

The Govt was aware that if the Indigenous people participated in this work Aboriginal people have acquiesced and are no longer entitled to their usufructuary rights to the land.

Usufructuary rights in common law gives the person or persons the right to enjoyment and the right to gain benefit from the trees, to harvest medicines, gather food, hunt animals, fishing etc. without destroying or damaging the property.

Greg Hunt and PM Tony Abbott may claim this is an unintended consequence of their new scheme, but from our perspective Hunt’s Direct Action plan is an evil act, a cunning immoral act of bastardry.

Suspect   TYPICAL old-style sycophant "corporatist lapdog" government's trick ~ weakening people's rights over their own properties and territories ~ whether they be aboriginal communities, family farms or small suburban and rural townships...

PREPARING the way for later incursions and invasions by those corporate donors ~ mining, oil, gas, forestry, GMO and pesticide companies ~ after removing or "watering-down" many of the former environmental, community health, and OH&S regulations..    ::sexbnan:
