Should Trump recuse himself from acting in a presidential capacity?

Trump has alleged several accusations against Mueller for conflict of interest.  In doing so, he has announced new standards of conflict.

Party affiliation conflict.  If a prosecutor is a Democrat, according to Trump, he is conflicted; so, being of one party adverse to the investigation, is one new standard.  Trump is a Republican, and he alleges that Mueller and his team are Democrats.  Doesn't that bring Trump, as the President, into a conflict situation?  First point: Trump should recuse himself as President, as his party affiliation puts him in a conflict position.

Possible wrongdoing conflict.  Another conflict promoted by Trump is, if someone has any involvement in the subject mater of the investigation, he is conflicted.  If someone is a witness, or a subject (or target) of an investigation, doesn't that person have a conflict of interest?  Hasn't the Mueller team identified Trump as a subject, and potentially a target?  Trump is clearly a subject of the Mueller probe.  Mueller's team has openly said so.  Second point: Trump must recuse himself ipso facto from any action as President, including, but especially, acting in any law enforcement capacity.

Beneficiary interest conflict.  Finally, isn't the Mueller probe into the election of 2016?  Trump won that election.  So, Trump is a beneficiary of the Russian efforts, even if he took no criminal part.  Under any theory of restitution, he must disgorge his profits resulting from the wrongdoing being investigated by Mueller.  Third point: If Trump stands to benefit from the underlying fraud, he is clearly in a conflict position as to any action as president.

Trump must recuse himself from acting as the President during the pendancy of this investigation.

These are great points. They go right up there with "innocent people don't resist investigation."

“As man advances in civilization, and small tribes are united into larger communities, the simplest reason would tell each individual that he ought to extend his social instincts and sympathies to all members of the same nation, though personally unknown to him. This point being once reached, there is only an artificial barrier to prevent his sympathies extending to the men of all nations and races.”
