To our British members -- if you feel a creeping sense of dread as spring turns to summer ...

Post by >THE Ben Reilly< on Thu Apr 26, 2018 1:51 am

LONDON — US Failing Cheeto-Faced Ferret-Wearing Shit Gibbon will visit the UK in mid-July, according to multiple news reports.

Sky News, The Guardian, and CNN are among the news outlets reporting, citing anonymous sources, that Trump will visit the UK in July for a trip which would mark his first visit to the UK since he became president.

A formal announcement is expected in the next few days.

The trip will reportedly be a so-called "working visit" without the full regalia and royal status of a full 'state visit", with officials keen to minimise the risk of disruptions and protests.

Not too long ago I felt a very sinister presence in Texas and the same day learned that Trump was in town, trying to raise money. #RespectMyJourney

The only thing I dread is one of those British heatwaves we seem to have every summer now.

He's a Head of State, the country has had as bad and perhaps even worse visiting. The competence and calibre of politicians seems sadly lacking everywhere these days
and they don't seem to have the staff anymore either, who can think on their feet and get them out of the mess they make.

He deserves the biggest, slimiest, greenest, gobbet of greasy phlegm hawked straight into his fat face.
Hopefully from a Mexican who has been eating fiery red chillies.

Whatever you think of him he is the Head of State and if only for the reason of the office he holds, should be treated with respect and maybe shown what good manners are. We don't need unruly mobs protesting, don;t like his policies then don't turn out, or turn your back in silence as he passes by.

Yeah I agree with Flix, sorry vintage, I don’t like unruly protests. It’s not making your point in an adult and serious way.

Though the comment Andy made about the spitting Mexican was kinda funny.

Whatever people think of Trump he is the President of USA.

If we can have Mugabe, and Idi Amin, meet the Queen, why not Trump.

And Hitler was the Chancellor of Germany. Out of curiosity, did y'all ever extend a state visit to Hitler?

Lots of royals were cozy with him. He was German.

I think had it been a state visit people would have reacted more strongly.
As it is....as we are a very polite nation, and as he is president of the US, and as Britain has always been on good terms with the US, I suspect most people will either politely ignore the visit or just accept its the done thing.
