I love the picture, but I don't get your sentence Neutral

Two people I know who looked at this thought it was a photo of two gay men kissing.    I guess it's in the eye of the beholder.

That's what I thought at first tbf. It's a shame it isn't, it would be sexy AF it it was Razz

Nice picture though all the same.

Pit Ponies worked in underground coal mines worldwide between the 1750 and 1999. When laws were passed prohibiting the use of women and small children as laborers in coal mines, the industry was in desperate need of more workers. The idea of Pit Ponies caught on in a big way by 1842, and by 1913, it is estimated that there were 70,000 Pit Ponies working in the United Kingdom alone.

I love snorkelling too....especially when there are wondrous things to see.
You never know till you try re scuba diving. I saw people who were hesitant take to it straight away, and people who thought they would love it lose their nerve and refuse to go down.

Han Qiaoni, from Yuxian County in northern China's Shanxi Province, had her feet bound when she was just two-years-old. Chinese women with the smallest feet were given the greatest chance of living a life of luxury and wealth but the process and results were agonising and dangerous. The instep was broken, the foot folded beneath the sole and bound.

Aleister crowley in 1912. Living proof that if you stare too long into the abyss it also stares back at you.. and will eventually consume you completely.

Crowley once attempted the Ritual of Abramelin, at Boleskine House on the shores of Loch Ness.   The purpose of this ritual is to invoke one's Guardian Angel. It requires at least 6 months of preparation, celibacy and abstinence from alcohol. However, it also opens up darker energies to bind them and remove their negative influences from the magician's life. Whilst Crowley was in the process of performing the lengthy ritual, he was called to Paris by the leader of the Golden Dawn. According to legend,he never banished the demons he had summoned, leading to strange happenings occurring in and around Boleskine House.

The Ridges Asylum in Ohio. A 54 year old female patient who ran away and was missing for 6 weeks. She was found dead in an unused ward. She had taken off all of her clothes, neatly folded them, and laid down on the cold concrete where she subsequently died. Through a combination of decomposition and sun exposure, her corpse left a permanent stain on the floor, which is still visible today.

This scary-looking painting was kept in Sean Robinson's grandmother's attic for twenty-five years before he inherited it from her. She had always told Robinson that the painting was evil, and the artist who had created it had used his own blood mixed with the paint, and had killed himself shortly after completing it. She claimed to hear voices and crying when the painting was displayed, and to see the shadowy figure of a man in her house, which is why she locked it away in the attic.

I know the person who has this, and I've seen this work of art up close and personal and it's about the creepiest thing you'll ever see or touch.

The title reminds me of a picture of a womb scan I saw few days ago.

A picture of Jesus was watching over the unborn baby. It was so spookily accurate, not blurred at all. The mum said she was not religious but the pic gave her comfort as both previous babies had abnormalities.

The jesus baby had no abnormalities or complications when born. Sorry but atm this blurred photo is all I can find. If I can find the original pic I will show it.

Dennis Avner, also known by "Catman" or his native american name of "Stalking Cat", undergone incredible extensive surgery in order to look like his totem animal, the tiger. Modifications include extensive tattooing, transdermal implants to allow whiskers to be worn, subdermal implants to change the shape of the face and the filing and shaping of the teeth to make them look more like a tiger's.

Michael Llewelyn Davies was the boy J M Barrie modelled Peter Pan on. Barrie's masterpiece was written for the young children of the Davies family, with whom he used to play in Kensington Gardens. Shown here is Michael Llewelyn Davies dressed in the costume that inspired Barrie to write Peter Pan.  Michael had a morbid fear of water all his life.   He drowned at 21.

Paul Leo Seidel, of Munich, former inmate of the Auschwitz camp, displays a model of the so-called ‘Bocer Swing’ – A torture method devised by Wilhlem Bocer, one of the defendants at the Frankfurt trial. According to testimony of Auschwitz survivors, the prisoner’s hands were tied in back and their legs put through this loop. They were then made to ‘wing’ by Bocer using truncheon or whip.

Many, many people were completely messed up by the holocaust, and this lasted for years, decades... forever. Peter Chemy, a Polish national liberated from a concentration camp in May 1945, spent the first few months of his freedom adrift in Germany. He found refuge in the home of a German family: husband, wife, and daughter. After they had gone to sleep, Chemy found a hatchet and murdered them in their beds. He was tried by an American tribunal, sent to Landsberg, and executed by firing squad
