Can anyone help? Borax

hey guys

can anyone who is living in america look up a company that i can buy borax from please.

i live in england and unable to get anywhere within EU due to them being wankers and all

can get borax substitute but would rather have the real thing

Also I amended your title so that people would actually know you wanted help, cos at a quick glance it looks like you're saying 'bollox' and I thought "well bollox to you then".

Hey Geli - long time no hear/see

It's on Amazon.com and eBay, but I think it's highly unlikely that they will ship to the U.K. because it's against the EU regulations. None of the mainstream grocery stores or stores like Walmart/Target etc...will ship overseas.

If you do find someone willing, stay away from the Chinese stuff (fake and dangerous) and be prepared for outrageous shipping costs as there is only airmail now here.

have looked on amazon and ebay but it's just the substitute that's offered for me here, will try that and see

as for me and the kids,,,, deffo working towards fanbloodytastic, certainly a damn sight better than of yore and that's a fact.

"Borax" is a salt of the mineral Boron, mined as a rock mineral (sodium borate) and then pulverised...

It is the corrosive effects of the sodium that probably gets it banned in some markets..

If it's the Boron that you want added to a cleaning agent/detergent,  than you could always consider making your own cleaner (one of those green/traditional type recipes using ingredients like boric acid/boracic acid, white vinegar and table salt, among other ingredients..), add boric acid to an existing product, or look for those cleaners that contain boron.
