Perhaps you only ever really know what true love is when you're on your death bed and you look back....and you just know.

Fucked if I know.

You do not need to live alone to understand how to be happy within yourself.
If you need others for that happiness, then I agree Eddie
Happiness is not dependent on a relationship. The world functioning, is though.,

Just saying.

Depends how independent they are Eddie.
My Uncle was a Bachelor till they day he died, and was the happiest out of all my uncles
He clearly did not need a relationship, even though he had a couple of serious ones
He was the one that taught me to treat life like a book, with many chapters.
Never to dwell on that same chapter, but move onto the next one.
Never live in regret.

He sounds wise. I think I'd have liked him.
