Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner killed Trump’s anti-LGBT executive orders: report
LGBT rights groups were bracing for an executive order from Donald Trump’s administration this week that would rescind President Barack Obama’s employment protections. Friday it was revealed that the executive order is on hold in large part to Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, senior advisor Jared Kushner.
Two sources told Politico the couple feared a major blowback nationally if the protections were rolled back. It would open the door to allow any employment discrimination based on gender and orientation for government contractors and other departments.
Another executive order anticipated by LGBT activists was a national “religious freedom” bill like those seen in states to allow discrimination if it comes from personally held religious beliefs. White House press secretary Sean Spicer announced Thursday that the administration had no plans to roll it out, however.
Instead, of the anti-LGBT orders, the White House released a statement this week saying that the president is “determined to protect the rights of all Americans, including the LGBTQ community.”
The White House downplayed the pivot and claimed the draft anti-LGBT executive orders circulating would never have received Trump’s signature. They also explained they were one of about 200 possible orders thought out during the transition.
While Trump placated to the LGBT community during the campaign, saying that he supported LGBT people, he and his surrogates attempted to pit them against Muslims by claiming Muslims were behind the Orlando attack and he will keep LGBT people safe. Trump also appointed a Vice President with a rabid anti-LGBT background.

Imagine if he did try to roll out these discriminating policies out.
It would have had further more people take to the streets and be against Trump and be the start of his pending doom to remain in office.
