Trumps bodyguard: using fake arms to conceal long arms

Post by veya_victaous on Fri Jan 27, 2017 5:09 am

DONALD Trump’s bodyguard wore a pair of plastic arms while holding a machine gun under his coat during the Presidential inauguration, it has been claimed.

After President Trump took the official oath he and his family walked four kilometres down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House flanked by heavy security.

But it was the secret service agent walking beside Trump and First Lady Melania that caught the eye of social media users.

The stern-looking man’s arms seemed stiff and appeared not to move for the entirety of the walk.

This has led to speculation that he was concealing a weapon under his jacket and was most likely holding it with his trigger finger ready.

And because both his “real” hands were hidden, some online users are convinced the security officer was holding an automatic weapon.

One YouTube commentor said: “That is a prosthetic arm, tucked in his coat, that agent is carrying a long gun under his coat, and he is right handed.

“He is holding his long gun, up close and under his right arm pit, prob a rifle SBR or sub machine gun.”

But some eagle-eyed online dwellers have claimed to have spotted the bodyguard’s fingers twitching and there is no previous evidence of agents using prosthetic limbs.

Yet, one conspiracy blogger claims to have showed the images to military boffins, reports the Daily Star.

The user insists that the experts believe the weapon under the jacket is a FN-P90 machine gun.

He said: “Their conclusion is they believe he had fake arms so he could conceal a fully automatic rifle in the ready position under his coat.

“Numerous members of the military community speculated it was likely a FN-P90 rifle.”

Those pics are pretty convincing, actually.

And it wouldn't be the first time Trump had paid people to do something a bit underhanded, so to speak:

NEW YORK — When Donald Trump gathered the press at Trump Tower 20 months ago to announce his unlikely candidacy for president, he reportedly paid actors to fill the marble lobby and cheer.

Not much — and everything — has changed since.

On Wednesday morning, when the president-elect once again faced hundreds of reporters from around the globe gathered in his lobby -- this time for his first press conference in seven months — Trump filled the room with paid staffers who clapped and cheered as he blasted members of the media as purveyors of “fake news.”

It was Trump’s method of battling back an extraordinary report that U.S. intelligence officials have presented both Trump and President Barack Obama with unverified allegations that Russia has compromising information about the incoming 45th president, including about a reported salacious encounter in a Moscow hotel room.

With three of his grown-up children, Vice President-elect Mike Pence, and members of his senior staff looking on from the sides, Trump framed the anticipated barrage of questions about his connections to the Russians as a referendum, instead, on the untrustworthy media, seated in seven rows of plastic folding chairs in front of him.

The Greek chorus of loyal, paid staffers in the back of the room boosting Trump with their hoots and cheers also served as a reminder, of sorts, of the movement of Trump backers happy to take him at his word and jeer the media as the out-of-touch liars.

Obviously Trump is very comfortable with being ... opaque? The opposite of transparent.

Sorry am I missing the point? Why is it bad to conceal a gun and wear false arms?

Smile

It's not like fake arms and a hidden gun are going to have much effect anyway, if somebody decided to lob a grenade into their midst...

Or how about a poison pellet or dart..

Or some plastique explosive hidden somewhere the sniffer dogs couldn't detect it.

As some one who has been involved in "close protection" if there was a problem it would take too long to drop false arms and get the long gun out and on target, A hand gun could be brought out and on target in a second or two.

Counter sniper maybe

It is what ex us military suggested. They gave a model I think it is a sub machine gun

They also said he would have his fingers on trigger. I dont think he has to hold thd fake arms I think they are part if coat that leaves arms free under coat

A Mac-10, which is a SMG pistol, yes...but not an Uzi. It's too large.

And a Mac-10 carries only 32 rounds in the stock clip. So it's not much of an advantage. An extended clip would make it pretty obvious.

Frankly, I think the guy looks fake. His face is as plastic as his hands. Twisted Evil I'd be more worried about that.

Could be. I've tried a lot of cases involving firearms, and the Uzis I'm familiar with are quite bulky.

But I'm no x-pert, for sure.

Both arms are false, if you notice.  They are made to look active--and hence more real--by showing then engaged in actively touching one another.

If a guard had two false arms, he might be at a disadvantage in a fracas. More likely, there are two fully functional arms under the coat.
