lucky escape...went up to the wood today, expecting to see damage from the winds that tore through te powys/shropshire border area ......fortunately it missed us and all was in good order....
met up with the guy who does hard surfacing for a quote to lay us a hardstanding for the camper van..got that arranged

twere a very nice day up there so did a bit of coppicing, got some hazel to dry for walking sticks..

Ah, that explains why when I was when Kirkcudbright the day before yesterday the entire fishing fleet had come into harbour - a rare event.
