"Historic, dangerous decision"

Post by Ben Reilly on Sat Jun 25, 2016 12:09 am

Good-bye, Great Britain; hello, Little England. Now, Scotland might vote to leave the U.K., and so might Northern Ireland. The nation that masterminded Europe’s fate for 400 years will slink off into an offshore Austria, a remnant of the once-mighty Habsburg Empire. Little Britain is a place of quaint villages and peculiar habits, like warm beer — but the country will no longer matter. Just imagine a Little Britain in 1939. Hitler would have rolled right over it, and then Europe.

A resurgence of the Right within ruling Conservative party and possibly coup attempt against Jeremy Corbyn.
Not since the Germans voted Hitler into power has a democratic electorate inflicted so much harm on its glorious history and its prospects. In fact, the situation today is worse. The Germans did not know what they were buying. Yet today, the future — a lethal loss of economic and political power — stared the British right in the face, and they chose self-demotion anyway.

History won’t be kind to the 52 percent who bolted from greatness. Nor to the Brussels’ backroom bureaucrats and oblivious governments, who respond to every sign of popular resentment by grabbing at another piece of national sovereignty. Brexit screams: You have gone one bridge too far. Don’t even think about more integration now.

Europe must keep Britain moored. If not, the EU will shrink into an irrelevant outpost of Eurasia. Could this nightmare be dispelled? Dear Brits, please vote again — for your own sake, and Europe’s.

Yes it is time for Asian Economic Dominance.
Closer ties with China etc and in a couple of decades we can employ the Europeans for scrap.
If they don't kill each other first... always an issue with Hill Shepherds

Hopefully they don't kick off their wars until there economic value has shrunk to the point our leaders ignore them.

I do think they should be made to surrender their nukes, they are too unstable with too much chance of a 'new hitler' particularly if other nations start to split off then you just know a war is on the cards geek

This "hill shepherd" thing is becoming very offensive. The British people voted, and now the ones who lost are very angry and are lashing out, banging on about "old" people ruining the lives of young people, etc. However, that doesn't excuse an Aussie sticking his beak in and being offensive about those who chose to leave. Veya didn't think that the UK was important anyway, and he spends a lot of time slagging off Europe, so why does he care?

this is like all my Christmas come at once santa

the world is slagging off the hill shepherds of England.

and this has caused the Hill shepherds of Europe to Rumble... in recent history the cause of 2 world wars.
The rest of the world has a right to start to think how to contain the potential war zone like we do the hill shepherds of the middle east.

Oh tut-tut, raggs. Stick a cork in it.

Can anyone tell me what a "hill shepherd" is, and what's its relevance?

No idea, I think it's the only insult Veya can spell.

Might????

They have to have this apporved in the UK parliment.
Which if the Governement has any sense will place this two decades in the future

Anyway you are forgeting a number of factors.

Scotland voted to remain as a part of the UK, knowing full well a possibility that the UK could end up leaving the EU.
Not only has this bound Scotland to the UK for the foreseeable future, as to call for another one is being very undemocratic to the recent decision made by the majority of the Scots to remian. It seems not only do the left have no respect for the democratic process. They also have little regard for the majoirty vote that voted to remain as part of the UK. Less people turned out for the EU referendum, than they did in the general election. The biggest factor of all though, is people are placing trheir eggs all in one basket, think the Scots will vote to leave.

What I find hilarious with all this sour grapes from the left and hourly fear mongering articles, is they continue to refuse to accept the decision. Where based on this, they are ceasing to be living in the present and are now in the past. What should be happening now is to move on and now as an independent UK support the UK going forward.

I didn't write it. All this bad news, all these negative opinions about Brexit, are not being manufactured by the lefties here on NewsFix. They exist out there in the world, expressed by people who are simply exercising their freedom of speech.

Well its of no surprise to me, is this how lefties always react, whether in the media or in real life.
They do not respect the outcomes of the democratic process and so will continue to moan for months on end.
As i said, the left continually in the Uk conflict over equality, which is making them go from being the defenders of the oppressed, to the defenders of the oppressors. So again a date has to be set and again that will be made by the governement, which again nobody knows if Scotland would vote to leave.

IF trump is elected you will see what A dangerous, historic decision means,

in the mean time shut up till you see what happens or you could make yourself look very foolish, more than you are at the moment.

Yes. That's what alternative truth sites do. But you all call them conspiracies.
But hey, what do I know?
