The truth about the eu free movement rules and why non eu immigration is so high

Post by Tommy Monk on Thu Jun 09, 2016 12:30 pm

First topic message reminder :

"...It gives EEA citizens the right of free movement and residence across the European Economic Area, as long as they are not an undue burden on the country of residence and have comprehensive health insurance.[1] This right also extends to close family members that are not EEA citizens.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Movement_Directive

So it looks like non eu nationals can also get here under eu free movement rules!!!

We must vote leave to end the madness and regain control of our country!!!

One line from Wiki is your source? Read on further where it becomes a bit clearer.

It's nonsense and there is no free movement for family members of EEA citizens and your one line just doesn't cut it. Laughing

Behave yourself.

UK

Main article: EEA Regulations (UK)
In the UK, the directive is transposed into the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006[4] amended by SI 2009/1117[5] and amended by SI 2011/1247.[6] The implementation is reasonably complete and accurate although non-EEA family members require an entrance clearance (called EEA Family Permit) to enter the UK even if they are in possession of a 5-year residence card of another EEA member state, in breach of the Directive.[original research?][7][not in citation given][8][not in citation given][9][not in citation given] The UK law recognises same-sex relationships, and it also has a clause for unmarried/unregistered partners. Applications are currently £65:00 + £19.20 for submitting biometric information and an additional £65 per dependant.
As from the 6 April 2015 the UK Apply this directive in full accordance with the European Law for Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen family members. Entering the UK as the holder of an Article 10 residence card

And you want to see the hoops they have to jump through and the form they have to fill in to get a family permit which may include a DNA test. Even if they get one the permit only lasts 6 months anyway after which they have to leave. Sure Tommy said they only have to flash their passport as they walk in Laughing

Here's the Form. Opens as a .pdf

Click Here to apply for a Family Permit

No problem. A translator and translated documents are required along with all the other requirements. Takes around 3 months to be dealt with and applicants may be called in for an interview and the DNA test. East peasy eh. Laughing

Yeah... and the eu free movement rules also say that any non UK eu person here should have their own health insurance and should not be an undue burden on the country...

And that is enforced well too isn't it...!?

Oh... and the bit you and sassy are posting up says that 'citation' is needed...

[original research?][7][not in citation given][8][not in citation given][9][not in citation given]

Doesn't that mean it is unsubstantiated...?

Well that was from your link I believe so what you were using to prove a point was total nonsense.

Your clutching at straws mate as the link to the UK government shows quite clearly that there is no free movement for family members of EEA citizens.

The game is up Tommy and it would be better to just accept that you got it wrong.

I didn't latch on to the wiki stuff. I latched on to the UK government website that explains it all in detail and I provided you with a link which you clearly have not read.

Go and read it - it's all there

just to muddy the waters somewhat.
those a feared of the turkish hordes descending on europe when the visa free access becomes available should know that turks with green passports already have visa free access to the schengen area. Although AdmiralGeneral President for life bir dakika bey is taking most of the green passports away since the coup attempt, along with thousands of ordinary passports. It's almost like he doesn't want people leaving.
the state of emergency was extended for another 3 months, which includes GP's no longer being able to sign sicknotes for some reason so people have to go to government approved hospitals to get a sicknote, often involving long journeys and a waits in queues to get a stamped note so they can be ill.

10's of 1000's of professional people have been removed from their jobs and had their qualifications removed meaning they cannot get new jobs.

more have been arrested, so many in fact they are having to release prisoners early to accommodate them all.
the biggest irony of this is that Bir Dakika bey owes his rise to power entirely to gulen. I believe they fell out over money
