Of course PA schools teach antisemitism

Post by Guest on Tue May 31, 2016 1:43 pm

From the Facebook page of the Salem-Dir Hatab Boys High School, near Nablus:

This was to commemorate the "20th anniversary of the Ibrahimi mosque massacre" in Hebron.

A caricature of a stereotypical haredi Jew with blood dripping from his hands and mouth? Nah, they are only talking about "Zionists."

This school is aligned with Fatah.

Girls' schools are no better. This Nablus girl's school shows a woman brandishing a show at a Jew who is in the middle of performing the unpardonable crime of Walking While Jewish.

The shorthand phrase "no Jews, no news" isn't quite accurate. It is closer to "no blaming Jews, no news." Because Palestinian antisemitism being taught to children is simply not considered newsworthy.

Silence from the lefties?
I mean at every turn I keep saying its the Palestinian authorities that refuse peace and this is evident here. As a nation that indoctrinatess its people to hate from the earliest ages not accepting another people, has no intention of peace but conflict and hate.
That video should be presentd to the Un and the world to show the farce that is the Palerstinian authority

It's actually silence from boredom. Every culture at war, or caught in tensions or hostilities produces propaganda that vilifies the other side. Consider Britain's efforts at characterizing the Nazis pre-WWII:

To doubt that there are tensions surrounding Palestinian/Israeli relations is to have your head in the sand.

So where there is blatant hate being taught to children, you instead divert, deflect and try to cover up the issue at hand.

The above should be the new Left motto

Actually...out of the mouth of a knuckledragger? Laughing I say, let the words stay with their speaker.

To deny that there is antipathy between Palestinians and Israel would be nonsense. It just goes with the territory.

Gibberish, how on earth do you ever expect peace when there is a systematic education system that will from generation to generation continue hate and conflict.

If this was found to be some US sschools teahing hate and violence against African Americans, your answers would be very different

Like I say, you deflect, divert and cover up a problem

You spout ignorance.  Education should be used to illustrate and guide.  As with any problem, first you diagnose the problem; then you recommend ways to fix it.

Regarding the Palestinians, we are still in the stage where people need to be informed of the problem.  The oppressed ordinarily do not have the hardware, so they use the tools of communication.  Would that we in America might have sent slave children to school so that they might learn what is happening to them is wrong.  Fortunately, these Palestinian children are given the opportunity to learn that while reality may not be as it should be, justice is with them.

Gibberish again as how is teaching to hate and stab jews, educational other than to teach them how to actually kill and hate Jews?
How does that help bring about a peace between people.
Do you want me to educate you on the Nazi schooling systems to help you understand your blatant ignorance again?
So how are people oppressed in Gaza by the fact they are not occupied and Hamas is geared up to constantly attack Israel.
What you are effectively saying is its okay to teach hate and violence based on a point of view that someone is oppressed.
Sorry, you have relegated yourself to the stupid zone based on that nonsense as there is and always has been an option open to the Palestinian authorities, one they have never take

Its called peace

Maybe if the Israelis don't want the Palestinians to hate them, they should stop bulldozing Palestinian families' homes?

See how absurd the reasoning, excusing hate and violence again from the left

You simply cannot condemn what is being taught can you?

I condemn Israel bulldoszing the homes of terrorist families

The point of this thread is to highlight the constant hate being taught by the palestinian authorities, ensuring a conflict conctinues

Re: Of course PA schools teach antisemitism

Post by Guest on Sun Jun 05, 2016 7:19 am

Not recognizing Israel as a state and constant war, among others, are common themes being taught to Palestinian children in PA controlled schools.

n almost every study conducted by researchers looking into incitement in Palestinian textbooks, materials have been found which breach the Palestinian Authority's pledges to halt anti-Israel incitement in schools.

Researchers have been surveying Palestinian school textbooks frequently over the past few decades to see if they have inciting material, such as the non-recognition of Israel as a sovereign state or the glorification of terror attacks and terrorists.

The schools researched in the various surveys are all public schools under the control of the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian Ministry of Education.

[ltr]
A post on the official Facebook page of the Iktiba girls high school in Tulkarem. The picture shows Adolf Hitler next to a caption which says "I could have killed all the Jews in the world, but I kept some of them alive so that the world will understand why I killed them."[/ltr]

It turns out that in the vast majority of Palestinian textbooks, Israel isn't on any maps in any form. Israeli cities within the 1967 Green Line - such as Acre, Haifa, Nazareth, Jaffa, and others – are presented as being Palestinian cities. There are only a few schools which use textbooks that show a difference between PA controlled areas and Israel.

[ltr]
Israelis are pulling up trees from Palestinian land. Inside a language textbook called "Our Beautiful Language." The book is used in second grade. [/ltr]

The IMPACT-se group looks into the issue of what governments teach their children and put in their textbooks worldwide in an attempt to determine how peaceful and tolerant a society is. They also looked into the school curriculums in the PA.

[ltr]
The name "Israel" doesn't exist on the map. The caption under the picture reads "the Levant is made up of the following countries: Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria." Found in the book "National Education," taught to students in second grade. [/ltr]
According to Chairman Marcus Sheff, "we looked for characteristics of peace and tolerance. We investigate education systems all over the world. We search using objective criteria written by UNESCO, and use these criteria to rank the peace and tolerance in children and in the society itself. There is a definite and clear correlation between the level and peace and tolerance and political violence in a society."

[ltr]
One of the first times the word "Israel" has ever appeared in a Palestinian textbook. However, the word is pushed as far to the side as possible. Found inside the textbook "Modern and contemporary history of Palestine." The book was used starting in 2014, and is read by juniors in high school. [/ltr]

When asked about the results of the organization's findings, Sheff didn't have good news.

"The word 'peace' isn't mentioned at all in the education system," he said.

Did you find any signs of hate or incitement?
"There is no direct call to go out and kill Israelis or Jews. However, there's a narrative of constant struggle, constant war, Jihad, of sacrificing ones life. This is very dangerous. What we're seeing is that Palestinian children are being educated and told that political violence is completely legitimate on the one hand, and that Israel doesn't exist on the other. Israel only exists as an enemy, but doesn't exist in reality."

So the next generation isn't going to respect its neighboring country because it simply doesn't exist.
"Its very basic. These children need to be educated on the concept of peace from a young age, especially if we're talking about the Middle East, about the two state solution - according to which two states will be able to exist side by side in peace."

 Are there any signs of religious radicalization in these textbooks? To respect Muslims more than non-Muslims?

"The narrative is primarily nationalistic, but over the last year or two, we've seen that the waqf religious authority textbooks have become very important in the Palestinian Education Ministry, and that they indeed have a tendency to be more extreme."

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4811588,00.html

Now as seen above instead of condemning this hate, the two leading regressives on this forum instead defend child abuse. As teaching such hate to children is child abuse.

That is a fact.

If Israeli children are being taught to hate Palestinians it is also child abuse,  and I am sure some certainly are in some of the settlerments of which I completely condemn.

What you have here though is again where the regressive mind simply ignores the very fact the reason there is still conflict today is because from generation to generation the Palestinian authorities have indoctrinated children to hate and believe Israel should not exist. That the land belongs to former conquerors and colonists, the Arabs. It shows they have the same American mentality shown against the Native Indians of their own country. That the Native Indians are denied self determination and even now struggle to be allowed to vote, thus treated with the worst inequality. The colonialists come to think the land is theirs by right of might and yet in the same token. Where Israel has won land through defensive conflicts, they show the worst double standards and state an injustice/oppression to decades of the Palestinian authorities and Arab Goverments trying to wipe Israel off the map. Israel has through the Oslo accords, a treaty recognized by International law to control the security in area C and works in cooperation ith the Palestinians in the West bank. Othr than check points and serachers, they are ruled by Fatah. Hamas controls and runs Gaza, yet the regressive mind would led you to believe it is an occupation on a a comparative scale to the Nazi occupation of Poland. Which is sheer bullshit, as Israel has constantly had to fight for its very existance over decades.

Yes Israeli governments do wrong and they should be condemned when they do wrong, but how as seen above you have the worst support of child abuse where two what I can only describe as idiots defend such hate speech to children, shows they have not learnt a damn thing from their heroes Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela. The later came out of prison and seeked a message of peace and reconcilliation, not violence. King, was against Black violence, he thought the term "Black Power" was a poor choice of word, as it was seperatism, but advocated it to have a non-violent meaning. Both of them would have looked in shame at both these idiots.

They each neglect to realise that peace will come, when the Palestinian authorities want peace more than they hate the Jews.
The Palestinian authoritries started this conflict and continue to keep it going spurning every chance of peace and a nation state.
How many peace proposals have their spurned, simply because they will not except Israel to exist?
The Israeli Governement has to play its part also and needs a more liberl right leader than the present one. Which contrary to the babble Quill keeps reduntently arguing with. Benjamin Netanyahu is not immortal and like Hilary Clinton, has stated one thing to then change their position.
His argument is a Leopard never changes its spots, which would then render Hilary as unfit to serve the people of the US.
Like I said though its these cretins that are pushing more Israeli's to the right as they are castigated as a people by the acts of their Goverment, some extremists etc. I want a place for two nations two exist and for the Palestinians to have better rights which they do not have under Fatah or Hamas, but the sad reality is, its the regressives that have been dragging and bringing us closer and closer to another global war

Idea

MAYBE if Israel truly wanted more respect and understanding from the international community, they might consider apologising for some of their own past war crimes :

Invading Palestinian territories;
Murdering American sailors;
Mossad assassinations on foreign soil;
Blowing up Israeli school buses;
Mossad stealing & using hundreds of foreign passports;
Bombing U.N. Aid posts -- killing dozens of UN workers;
Murdering British soldiers;
Bulldozing Palestinian settlements..

AND, for that arrogant way that the IDF so obviously enjoys what they do !

Basketball

See another example  of studipity from another regressive poster

He does not condemn the hate being taught bur seeks to excuse the hate and child abuse by making now all israeli's, no matter if Arabs, Muslims, Christians Jews, Druze etc, culpible for the acts committed in conflict.
Its odd as well as it shows as well that this clueless thickm piece of shit does not even understand what a a war crime is.
So based on the above ignorance and the palestinian athourities starting a civil war with israel and attacking for decades since, would mean by the stupidity of this regressive that they should apologise for every Israel they have murdered as a war crime.
I mean every rocket fired from Gaza is indiscriminate and against civillians

War crime

Firing weapons from civillians areas

War crime

Storing them in schools and hospitals

War crime

Using human shields

War crimes

Suicide bombing

Terrorism

Anything else shit for brains?

Palestine in Israeli school books.

Each year, Israel's young men and women are drafted into compulsory military service and are required to engage directly in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This conflict is by its nature intensely complex and is played out under the full glare of international security. So, how does Israel's education system prepare its young people for this? How is Palestine, and the Palestinians against whom these young Israelis will potentially be required to use force, portrayed in the school system? Nurit Peled-Elhanan argues that the textbooks used in the school system are laced with a pro-Israel ideology, and that they play a part in priming Israeli children for military service. She analyzes the presentation of images, maps, layouts and use of language in History, Geography and Civic Studies textbooks, and reveals how the books might be seen to marginalize Palestinians, legitimize Israeli military action and reinforce Jewish-Israeli territorial identity. This book provides a fresh scholarly contribution to the Israeli-Palestinian debate, and will be relevant to the fields of Middle East Studies and Politics more widely.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Palestine-Israeli-School-Books-Propaganda/dp/1845118138

This book is by Nurit Peled-Elhanan. She was born raised and educated in Israel so she knows what she is talking about.

A review here as well

Another fine example of divert, deflect and cover up.
See it happens every time and now if someone is born in Israel they must be incapable of lying according to Irn.
Funny and how easy it is to work poeoples gibberish against them
Again he blatantly ignopres the fact these books are teaching antisemitism and he cannot debate this so uses some lefty to argue for him.
he ignores the video proving this with all the children stating the hatred and its clear he never watched it.
Denying the existance of a Israel is antisemitism, its as simple as that, so maybe by denying its existance irn can explain how that will achieve peace?
How also children wanting to stab, run over and kill Jews, will achieve peace|?
He uses something four years out of date as his counter on both links, the second claiming bias, which is far removed from denying the existance of israel.
Its what I keep saying about the left motto
Divert, deflect and cover up

The Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education criticized Peled-Elhanan's paper, "The Presentation of Palestinians in Israeli Schoolbooks of History and Geography 1998-2003", which was based on seven schoolbooks, for being "highly selective [in its] use of source material, leaving out all references which contradict [its] thesis," "[a] deliberate misinterpretation of facts" and "naccurate, distorted, and even downright [based on] false evidence." The author Arnon Groiss concluded that "Peled-Ehanan's claim regarding this point is clearly false ... This heavily politicized and thus biased approach distorts the material to produce a picture to her liking." Groiss further criticized the work of Peled-Elhanan for stretching the definition of racism to include cases that researchers would normally categorize as ethnocentrism. To date, the paper has not been published by scholarly journals

So to sum up:
Irn does not believe people born in Israel can lie
He uses a source that has been resoundly criticized for lying and misleading bullshit and never published in scholarly journlals

He again diverts and fails to deal with the present facts about hate being taught in Palestinian schools
The lefty motto, defllect, divert and cover up

Too easy for me

Yeah and look where the methodology of "none of our buisness" has got you with Syria.

500,000 dead
Over a million injured
Countless women and children being absued as sex slaves.
Homosexuals being thrown from roof tops
Thousands murdered through genecoide.
9 million displaced, the last now effecting the Middle east and Europe

You are all for burying your head in the sand
You see people like you Quill have no comprehension of what is a threat and what effect that threat then has when in action.

So when we apply your methodology here, you clearly have no concern both for Israeli's or Palestinians with peace for the future.
Thankfully intelligent people do not share your views as it can lead to far worse where hate is allowed to be taught.
Do I need to remind you of the holocaust?
Bosnia?
Armenian genocide?
Assyrian Genocide?
Greek genocide?
Rwandan Genocide?

So you continue to advocate being selfish and being born into privalidge, none of which you did anything yourself to create.
