If you could steal 10 years of extra life by letting a stranger die, would you do it?

Absolutely not!   How would I enjoy those 10 years knowing that, they would just be a burden.

No!

If you could be highly intelligent or extremely attractive, but not both, which would you choose?

I'd kill a stranger - find a paedo and kill him - it's a win win!

And highly intelligent of course

If you had to lose 2 limbs (whole legs or arms), which 2 would you choose?

I'd choose to lose the legs
But that's a tough one

You could cure all disease in the world forever, but to do so you have to murder one innocent child, would you do it?

That is illogical, as if you know they are a paedo, he ceases to be a stranger as you know of him

Well the way to look at this is if you do not kill the child, you are basically sentencing millions to death, including many children, if you do not.

Yep.

Would you rather live for 60 more years in poverty, or be one of the wealthiest people in the world even though you knew you'd only have 10 years left to live?

Who everyone else was, because I can learn about them, the only person who knows what's inside my head is me.

If you were on an Island and only had one book, what book would it be?

No...I'm Buddhist; I have a return ticket!

Ben posted > If you could be highly intelligent or extremely attractive, but not both, which would you choose?
Intelligence

nicko wrote: wrote:Saw a child through a "scope" about to throw a grenade into a crowded café, Would you shoot?

Ya...I'd take the child out to save all the other lives.

Sassy asked: If you were on an Island and only had one book, what book would it be?
NONE...I'd pick something that wouldn't be so specific; my luck that book wouldn't have the same climate/topography as the island I'm stuck on!  Just a general 'Survival Guide' would cover all of the basics...

OK...I'm getting lost in my cut & pasting...I must not be doing this RIGHT confused

Yes, the betterment of all mankind vs the #1; something Spock said in his scene stealing dying scripted words~~~
If you had to lose 2 limbs (whole legs or arms), which 2 would you choose?
my legs...it's easier to be mobile with all of our ADA implements then it is to be without arms --- my toilet training cannot be altered --- No
Ben asked > Would you rather live for 60 more years in poverty, or be one of the wealthiest people in the world even though you knew you'd only have 10 years left to live?
Wealthiest...I share the wealth and PAY IT FORWARD; WOW, that would make those last years so much fun.
Eddie asked > Would you rather forget who you were or who everyone else was?
Forget who 'I' am...then I can get to know EVERYONE ALL OVER AGAIN~~~ cheers

Camping gear/my survival book/my holistic medicinal medicine - natural edible plant guide/first aide kit/my 3 dogs/boxes of emergency dehydrated food stuff/machete knife and extra smaller knifes/small 9mm hand gun & bullets/and about 8 of my hens in a cage strapped to the cargo/luggage rack on top/radio/extra batteries for that and my wind up flashlight and my light weight thermal clothing...several jugs of water and my purifier kit/water tester.

hmmm...food I can hunt/forage /steal
water can be purifed by many means ...however ...did I mention my big white van has a water purifier already "built in?"
and has purifier tabs and silver nitrate sterilant in the onboard "pharma cabinet"....we spend a lot of time "out and about" the van is an essential part of that...and is well equipped..
good job you mentioned radio....would also chuck in all my ham radio gear...the van is wired for radio use..(FFR ...fitted for radio) and the computer as well...I can send emails via radio.....

Mum's jewelery for sentimental reasons.  Didn't notice the apocalypse bit to be honest.   In which case my set of extra sharp kitchen knives (they could slice through anything, including zombies lol), the emergency lighting set I've got, the packet of 10 extra large boxes of matches, rope from the shed, the camping kettle and pans, and the bag that we keep the hammer, nails, screws, screwdrivers etc etc in and all the bottled water and the sleeping bags and any dried food we have for us and the dog.

Excellent on that 'Ham Radio'...your ole white van sounds like quite the well traveled surivor vehicle. I wish I had one at times but I'd be thinking that link up for computer might not last and I'd much rather make sure I have a radio or 2 or 3.  But no - no rifle...I know my limitations for arm strength and would always need to prop it up on something --- but my machete --- that's my preferred ZOMBIE eradicator of choice.

Sassy...LOL, I was poking at ya; I thought you'd missed that part about Zombie Apocalypse and 'fleeing 4 your life'...

And cos I'm the only one who thought of and iPad I'll have no one reading my statuses and be like a Billy no mates......

No...the guilt would ruin the rest of my life.

Beauty or intelligence??
If I was really ugly I would choose beauty, who wants to be the cleverest munter on the block??

Zombi invasion.....I would grab the wallet with my mums last letters to me in, she wrote them before she became ill.....and I would grab that photo too.

Why not make it 'BLIND' and disabled as well~~~   cat
Decisions - Decisions...not enough time for 'rock - paper - scissors' is there; grab the kid and toss it out the door and run like hell to get my pets --- but of course I always have a doggy/cat door installed so there is that option too!

No need to go that far. Laughing

This question caused a fall out on a forum I used to post on....people get very upset when they realise their pets come first...if indeed they do.
If I could only save one and the other would perish I would opt for the child.
Years ago before I had a child I would have probably have opted for my dog.

If you could steal 10 years of extra life by letting a stranger die, would you do it?
No...the guilt would ruin the rest of my life.

Beauty or intelligence??
If I was really ugly I would choose beauty, who wants to be the cleverest munter on the block??

Zombi invasion.....I would grab the wallet with my mums last letters to me in, she wrote them before she became ill.....and I would grab that photo too.

One for you.....

If a house was on fire...in one door was your treasured pet dog or cat, in the opposite door was a strangers child....which one would you choose to save?

Well as this is ill conceived and I could just go and break a window for the animal to then jump through, as it now has a means of escape.
If having to make a choice, then that choice is very simple, where it will always be the human child. The loss of this one child if I allowed them to instead burn would cause suffering to many. To not only for that person, that they sacrifice their own child or someone elses for another species. But a species that is not even going to know what other animals of its kind lived there. That is always going to be the easier option left to be burdened with, plus the fact your first natural instinct would be to save your own or somebody else child you must know of by them being there together or within the same place as your pets. A pet can always be replaced, a son or daughter cannot.
