That's another show I've been meaning to check out, but it'll have to wait till I'm done with my newly-purchased first two seasons of Homeland Smile

Still weeks before we find out what happens to the gang in The Walking Dead ...  ::zomb::

"I will finish the wine myself" -- hilarious quote I saw somewhere; sounds so heroic Smile

By the way, the cool thing about American TV is the only way they'd go 2 years between seasons (series) is if the actors/writers/etc. went on strike.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODIES !!!

I would have posted on here 21 hours and 31 min's ago, if I hadn't been hamstrung by unexpected diversions and crashing and failing internet connections.. ( No )

(And, remembering that NSW is 10 hours ahead of UT(C)/"Greenwich" time..)

Happy New Year, Bee. I was wondering what happened. I had expected you to be the first to respond. I hope all has been fixed.

What was the problem? Seem to be a lot of cyber failures down there.

The problem being that people never do acknowledge when a year is better than the last - and fail to see that wanting every year to be better than the last is just ridiculous and stupid not to mention impossible anyway

No I dont but every year you get people saying about hoping the new one is better than the old one regardless of how good the old year was to them. Then you get the "hope everyone is better than the last" which is like I say patently ridiculous.

Yes for some people any year will have been the worst ever but for some other people it will have been the best ever and they should not be made to feel they have to expect better each year as that is ungrateful for what has gone.

How about thinking about the old year and remembering the good days to hope we have more like them while accepting the bad days and wishing they dont repeat.
