This Thanksgiving was Instagram's busiest-ever day

I don't think this is good news:

... this is the second Thanksgiving in a row that's set a busiest-day-ever record for Instagram. Last year, the network said that it saw over 10 million photos on Thanksgiving, coming in at a rate of around 200 images per second.

Practically none of these useless pictures will be printed and saved for keepsakes. They will die when the cellphone dies or the SD card dies. Future humans will find no record of this century.

Which is why physical copies are always better.

remember the old days when we would all take a picture of our food with a camera and then rush to the chemist to get them developed, then send copies of the pictures to all our friends by snail mail.
Oh happy days.

Laughing

ALL those boring farts who used to bore their guest's backsides off with their muddled and mishandled boring film nights and slideshows now have much more scarier and sinister tools at their brain-numbing disposal...

Instagram, Flckr, Cloud storage, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube..

IT'S all the work of the devil, I tell ya' !
Be afraid ! Be very afraid..  Twisted Evil
